Been looking for a recipe for the drink I had while visiting Disney World over the Christmas hols - it was called an Italian Surfer. I just found one recipe which looks promising, so I'm hoping to test it out this weekend. Coconut rum, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and amaretto...very, very tasty!

Had a bit of a scare a couple of weeks ago, so I've decided to give up drinking for a while... Not fun at all hate being sober when all my friends are hammered

So, today is my birthday. I turn 21, which is the legal drinking age in the United States. Unlike 99% of the United States population, I have never had alcohol underage.

I'm in here now to get your opinions. I've decided that I want to have a get-together with friends somewhere when everyone gets back from Spring Break. I haven't decided the circumstances of this get-together yet. I wanted to know what sort of drinks you would recommend to someone who's never had a drop of alcohol before-either that, or drinks that you figure people like in general. Thanks in advance for the insight!

Hmmmm, tough one that! I'm not too sure what's available in the States but you might want to try something that doesn't taste too alcoholic. Over here in the UK most people start with cider or alcopops when they're 14 or 15... yes we are a nation of boozers :hic:

Alcopops? I've never heard of those before. And I thought cider was non-alcoholic. At least, the instant cider I drink is... :S
