yeah I think Cider has a different meaning in the US. Over here it's definitely alcoholic.

Alcopops were popular in the UK in the 90s (showing my age here) - stuff like Hooch or Two Dogs alcoholic lemonade, Bacardi Breezer etc. They're usually just vodka with fruit juice and half a ton of sugar to take away the alcohol taste Vodka hasn't got much flavour so I suppose you could make a fruit punch with a couple of bottles of vodka and some orange juice...

oh and you'll need plenty of beer for the blokes. Doesn't matter what type, we tend not to care after about three or four...

yep I think so. You can't get it (Two Dogs) over here any more though. Haven't seen it for 10 years or more...

My current tipple is Disaronno and coke. \o/

Though I do have a penchant for Apple/Cherry Sourz. They're so mild when you have them with mixers that I can drink them aaaall night long.
