Elbow are a drinkers' band, I think... what do you like to drink?

I'm a fan of real ale: Tanglefoot, London Pride, Bombardier etc. I also like those continental beers that you're supposed to drink out of wine glasses (Leffe, etc). If I'm really slumming it I'll go to my local shop and buy a couple of cans of Skol Super (9%)!

I like cider as well... there's a few cider producers down here in Kent... and the odd pint of lager if it's a really hot day.

I like red wine, but I'm not a wine boffin... give me a Tesco Zinfandel and I'm happy Very Happy

I hardly ever touch spirits these days, but in my twenties (god, I must sound ancient to the likes of Jonny!) I was partial to JD and coke.

I really like real ale, european beers, and dry white wine.

Somerset cider, too. Obviously.

I don't really have a drink I always drink.

At the mo I'm enjoying draught Bulmers from my local. Elsewhere though just tend to stick to pints of lager.

I rarely go out these days, but if I do ever find myself in a club it's always a place called Exodus and I always buy meself a bottle of Jacques fruit cider. Anyone else tried it? It's nice.

Do like real ales too - tend to always be in a student pub up here though so they rarely have any. If they're on offer I will normally take one.

Love Guinness.

I'm not fussy.

Ooh! I also love Cider Reserve, but I can never find it anywhere except Mono in Glasgow. Mmmmmmmmm...

I've just realised I have the same taste in alcohol as a 60 year old man.

That would've been a far superior post.

Ha!

Wine would be my first choice, both red and white. Depends on the mood.

Sometimes I'll crave a good beer. Perfect for a summer day lounging about, or hanging around the bonfire with friends at night.

There are other times I'll crave a mixed drink, like a margarita or a bloody mary.

I don't drink.

(but when I do, I drink anything from red wine to cider to rum)

Tried some last weekend... I liked the forest fruits one. Nice, but expensive. I'm so into my booze, I have an excel spreadsheet on my computer which works out price per unit of alcohol. Can of Skol Super from Shop Around The Clock, St Michaels wins every time.

I think I need some booze now. I just stuck a toothpick through my top lip. THAT WAS STUPID.

I was about to dislodge something from my teeth but needed to itch my nose and smacked the toothpick which was between my lips. It went through my top lip!

Funny thing is, I've done this before! Not with a toothpick though. With my teeth. And it was my bottom lip.

I don't think booze would be a good idea Calum, you might end up sticking a toothpick somewhere else Shocked

Like Lee I'm a fan of Real Ale. There's some good little micro-breweries here in Oxfordshire. I tend to like milds and porters in the winter and light fruity ales in the summer.

I love red wine but it hates me. It makes me almost suicidal with depression a couple of days after drinking some.

A good malt whisky now and again goes down well too - Laphroaig, Old Pulteney, Glen Farchlas, Knockando etc.
