The board has grown in recent times, so MT and the moderators have decided it's time for a new set of forum rules.
All members - old and new - please acknowledge you've read these with a short 'Read' reply before posting further.

• Avatars need to be 120px wide, there are plenty of online resizers or a mod will do it for you.
  
• No pictures in signatures.
  
• Resize massive pictures, always preview first!
  
• Please don't double post, that's why there's an edit button.
  
  1. Submitting your message twice
     
  2. Submitting a message right after another, instead of just editing the original
     
  3. Posting something that another member has already said
     
  
  
• No text speak, go easy on the capitals.
  
• No single word/single emoticon posts (Outside of word association).
  
• Be sensitive about other users, anyone singling out another person will get told. This includes posts on potentially offensive topics such as sex, religion or politics.
  
• Try and stay on-topic, take chatty conversations to PM, chatbox or take it to "Off Topic".
  
• Think before you start a new thread. Could it be put somewhere else?
  
• Don't quote-on-quote-on-quote: Select the relevant line of previous post or edit the quote back in if a post creeps in before yours.
  
• You don't have to tell everyone when your tickets arrive or start a new thread about meet ups pre-gig; there's a thread for the latter already.
  
• Search before you post: There is a search function, check it hasn't already been said.
  
• Flaming - "Making pointless/hurtful mesages or starting an online argument that becomes nasty or derisive, where insulting a party to the discussion takes precedence over the objective merits of one side or another"- is not allowed.
  
• Trolling - "One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument" is also not tolerated.
  
• Posts which ignore these rules will be deleted and/or their threads locked. Repeated rule-breakers will receive a warning. Should rule breaches continue, post counts will be reset to zero, posting will be blocked from known IP addresses and repeat offenders ultimately banned entirely.
  
• The band have been known to frequent the board, just keep it in mind: We're all fans of the band, but there is a limit...
  
• Any problems, questions etc, the mod squad are a PM away.

For new people who aren't sure who's who:

Mods can be recognised on the board by the red "Moderator" or yellow "Administrator" tag in their signature.

He meant highlighting today's revised ones, but after trying changing colors of all the 'new' rules it's really harsh on the eyes. Consider them all worth reading and abiding by!
