Alright, here's a completely pointless poll to waste your time and brain cells on. I just finished watching one of those VH1 "Top One-Hit Wonders of the 80's" programs, and I was struck by the sheer awfulness of the hairstyles. I mean, I lived through it, but to see it all again, in one place - wow. A dishonorable mention for Nick Beggs of Kajagoogoo, too. I cannot look at an alpaca without thinking of him.

Has to be the dude from Flock of Seagulls, it's so wrong in every which way, although thats one of the better ones I've seen of him !

I wanted to vote them all bar Robert Smith, but I decided to vote Bono, 'cause I just hate mullets with a passion.

You know, bluejayway, I got some stick from my friend for including Robert Smith. She told me his hair is "iconic". I agree - it's part of his look and it totally works with his persona. Doesn't mean it's not bad, though...hair like that, outside of a Tim Burton film, is just not easy to look at!

Don't be too hard with the ol' Motley's, I've been a huge 80ies glamrock fan and ADORED those flashy longmainy glamsters which were a lot cooler than the "new romantics" with their softrinsed popsound and their whiny vocals...

Though I am converted to a "short hair and beard is cool" girl I think, Garve looked cutest with his autumnleafred "emo" haircut he had in 2003...

I ADORE that video. It is my favorite Elbow video. For..ummm...fairly obvious reason....
That and Fallen Angel. Is it me or..well...their videos aren't as good now...or, not that they aren't good, they just don't seem to put as much effort into them as before.
