| Hey Guys,
I am pretty new to this forum, so I have no idea if the answer to this question has been posted elsewhere, if it has I apologise..
I play in a youth string orchestra and I was wondering if anyone had released the string score/sheet music for "One Day Like This"? I'd really like to see if we could play it! |

| Can't find it online so I'm guessing no...You could carefully watch the Abbey Road DVD and try and figure it out! _________________ "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. " Carl Sagan Administrator

| Thanks for looking anyway! =]
I couldn't find it either, could get the sheet music, but it wasn't really what we were looking for.
I'm planning to buy the Abbey Road DVD sometime soon, so I might try it... |

| There's a Guitar Tab Edition book of the whole of The Seldom Seen Kid: Looking at One Day Like This, it does give you the string parts as an extra stave with full notation as well as the guitar tab, so should do the trick. It's in F major if you're all happy with that scale.
If you fancy buying the book, you can get it from Amazon currently for £11.24 with free delivery. No doubt there's other places will have it too. ISBN is 0-571-53265-9 and it's published by Faber Music. _________________ You patched me up and sent me on my way Moderator

| There are only 3 chords used in the entire song: F, Bb add9, and C add4. Playing with a capo on the first fret is the only way to go. With the capo, your finger positions are F-022100 Bb add9-077600 C add4-099800
Most of the song is...
F Bb add9 C add4 Bb add9
until the end, which is...
F C add4 Bb add9 F |

| hmmm, I'm no guitarist so probably completely wrong, but isn't there a D sharp/E flat chord that only appears in the last bit of the song?
(the bit where the chord changes under the "wide" of "throw those curtains wide")... |
