Good choice Hotblack but you might need cheering up a bit after a few listens.

Innit! Bleak it may be but it's a fantastic cd. The Mumford cd is light relief in comparison Smile

I like that National album. Smile

I've just got My Latest Novel's Latest, "Deaths and Entrances". Actually I'm tempted to make it a late addition to my list of Albums of 2009 but so far have only listened to it once so perhaps it's early days yet. I love their first one, Wolves, and this sounds as if it could be every bit as good if not better.

The Beatles Christmas Box, for Christmas! Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper & Abbey Road remastered. I just need to buy the remastered White Album now and I'll have what I consider the essential Beatles in the new shiny versions. Luvverley. (Although a remastered Blue Album would be nice one day).

Also, oddly, I got the same two albums as MBV - Music for Men & the fine Truelove's Gutter. Happy days.
