| I'm late to the party on this one but I really, really adore his album, 'For Emma, Forever Ago'. If you've not yet heard it then you really should check him out. MySpace is as good a place as any to start.
I can't wait to see him at Glastonbury, hopefully he'll announce some headline shows round this parts soon too. |

Ditto. Only had the album about 3 weeks but it's on reasonably heavy rotation at the moment. It's fabulous. |

| Band of the weekend at Glastonbury with their performance headlining The Park on Saturday night. Bruce who?
Saw them at The Serpentine Sessions at Hyde Park last night on the strength of that performance and they were brilliant again.
Probably my favourite band in the world at this moment in time. |

| Very tempted to go to the Green Man festival in Wales, mostly for his set! The glasto gig sounded absolutely magical _________________ I'm not going to buy you porn. You can get it from railway sidings like everybody else. Moderator

| Did go and see Bruce on the Saturday night but saw Bon Iver the day after on the the other stage and it was fantastic, highlight of the set was probably For Emma but the whole set and album both are very good. |

| So, now that Miley Cyrus has decided she's gonna leave Hannah Montana behind and (supposedly) grow up and stuff, she's trying to cultivate a new, mature image. I guess she figured that name-dropping some indie artists might help, so she recently mentioned in an interview how much she enjoys the music of Bob Iver. You know...Bob? That sensitive singer-songwriter guy the critics dig so much? Hmmm...maybe little Miley needs to read a music mag or three before mentioning names in interviews. Here's the story (with video, which is sorta funny): http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2010/01/listen-up-miley-cyrus-is-kind-of-a-music-snob-too-like-yeah.html EDIT: Bonus round! Count the number of times Miley uses the word "like" during the interview! It will BLOW YOUR MIND! |
