Who do you prefer?

What were you?

What are you?

Could you give a toss?

I basically am a Mod, so obviously I prefer Mods.

Were you born in the 1950's or a teenager in the 60's?! No, those are arbitrary terms now, they don't mean anything.

I was more a sort of hippie when I was a kid. Nowadays I'm much more eclectic in my choice of music. I like a bit of most things. I'm me and I don't categorise myself as anything any more. Smile

I am neither. I like to think of myself as being my own person, I don't like to be associated with sub-catagories and stereotypes.

Mods vs. Rocker, Beatles vs. Stones, Sweet vs. Slade, Poser vs. Thrasher, Punks vs. Proggies... Rolling Eyes
like the american rockband Tesla once said:

Quote :
Music means alot to me.
Like love I make it when I can.
All I am is all I'll ever be,
And that's just a boy from Texarkana.
But now and then, Oh, but once in a while,
They start treatin' me like some kinda superstar.
Need I mention at the end of the day what matters most of all.
It's not where you're at, but where you're comin' from.
When all is said and done.
You can call it...

Heavy metal, hard-core, punk, pop, or thrash.
You can call it anything it don't matter to me.
Call it what you want.
It's all music to me.

Get hold of a copy of Quadrophenia (the film of the album by The Who) which will tell you all you need to know. Smile

I steer well clear of labels too but did consider becoming a Modwolf at one stage. But am probably more of a rocker at heart. Or a hippy. Which just shows about the labels thing, hehe.

According to the kind of bikes they're riding and the kind of bikes I like most I might be more a rocker. But I only learned to drive a tiny 50 ccm Moped. Embarassed
But must admid I never understood the difference between Mods and Rockers.

Mod or Rocker?

Most definitely a Mod. Band most listened to were Small Faces. Wish I could have seen them live. My boyfriend saw The Who in Leeds. Apparently a gig that got talked about for a long time afterwards. 1970

I've been obsessed with Mod's for ages, since listening to The Who when they were the High Numbers.

P.S Quadrophenia is an ace film

What, the Live At Leeds gig?? ...the best live album of all time? I'm sooo jealous!

Seriously, anyone who hasn't heard it should get a hold of the Deluxe edition, which has the whole gig.
I know some purists think the original six track version was definitive, but I love the old daft pop hits like I'm A Boy and Happy Jack and the Tommy section is just thrilling.

I've seen them twice and they were great, but post Moon, unfortunately, so not really The Who.
