Depeche Mode, we couldn't get tickets, they went like hotcakes! Sad . Two Door Cinema Club in December and Foals in February and of course Elbow at Birmingham.

Can't make Everything Everything next week in Birmingham as hubbie in Japan. Anybody interested in a couple of tickets please message me going very cheap, next Friday 18th at The Institute. Gutted, can't go.

I have started 2014 with a very good selection of gigs: Anna Calvi in February, Rufus Wainwright and Elbow (at the O2) in April. Now I can't wait this summer to see Damon Albarn, The National and Elbow again (in Florence!! Still can't believe it).
Have I overdone?  scratch

Saw John in Preston at The Continental last year.
We are going to see him at Liverpool Kazimier the day after the Preston gig. I would have gone to Preston as it's a lot closer but it wasn't announced when we booked Liverpool.

John Bramwell gigs are always a good night out Very Happy

John was fantastic last night at Kazimier Liverpool.
Almost 3 hours on stage. A lot of Natural History, a fair selection of the rest of the back catalogue (other bands take note please), stories about McCartney,  McCulloch and loads of other stuff, a wonderful rendition of "A Day In The Life" and a 20 minute drink interval. What more could you ask for? Very Happy

It can be a bit hit and miss with John on his own (I've seen him on a big miss last year and it was still memorable) but tonight was class

Bloody brilliant.

Example, not my usual thing but accompanying friends, Bombay Bicycle Club at Leics de Montfort and it was also Basement Jaxx but realised we can't go as it clashes with Bombay Bicycle Club on the same night and of course Elbow!
