and i agree with you mr grant. the throbbing organ and desperately high vocals and sudden ending are truly epic

astonishing, although weather to fly is a good treat

An Imagined Affair is simply amazing now - I think; now a certain favourite!

Fugitive Motel has really grown on me - I never used to like it!

Red is now a firm favourite as well.

I'm not enjoying The fix anymore...

Niether am I enjoying The Stops

haha. an elbow christmas song would be the most ironic thing ever.

people i suppose would like a kind of 'one day like this' xmas tune.

but you just know that the elboys would do something really outlandish and off the wall; like a 'picky bugger' or 'snooks' style xmas song. haha Smile

I haven't been listening to much of the Elbow recently. I guess I overloaded around the time of the last gig! But we had TSSK on in the car the other day, and I was particularly smitten with the more beautiful numbers, particularly Mirrorball and Some Riot.

Leo, i beg to differ. I am constantly discovering new parts of songs, new layers and new angles of approach to elbow songs. That's why i love them, they never get boring because you are constantly discovering new parts of songs, new layers and new angles of approach to elbow songs.
