I only heard it a few weeks ago - it must be something to do with my new laptops speakers, I hear all sorts of new things now! I'm sure I read in an interview somewhere that the baby is Jupp's son.

It is indeed Dylan, Jupp's son.

I don't know why I know that.

yeah good shout, I think its credited on the cd as being Dylan Jupp.
I could do with some new PC speakers these dell ones are ok but as I do quite a bit of music on here I could do with something a bit better.not proffesional ie expensive standard but better than these.

We have these at work (click here...) and they're pretty good.

Otherwise, you can get a cheapish good quality home cinema system.

yeah I had heard that one, but just heard the dummy thing recently, I love little things like that on recordings. some accidental, some on purpose.
More common on old recordings where probably for reasons of cost they just went with the first or second take and left mistakes in there. On that old garage punk classic Louis Louis by the Kingsmen after the guitar break the singer comes in at the wrong place and stops again before coming in at the correct place and they just left it in there and apparently the drummer can be heard swearing.
I have a classic recording of a Reggae band playing Yesterday by the Beatles and the organ player plays all the way through in a completely different key to the rest of the band and it was released like that it sounds horrendous, I suspect he was quite a big fella.

You hear these odd bits a lot in Elbow songs - I'm sure there's someone shouting 'Mum! Mum!' at the end of 'Bitten By The Tailfly' - then there's the bit at the end of 'The Drunken Engineer' where someone is out of key 'in parts' Very Happy

I love the beatbox conversation at the end of Red, but had missed the whispered 'what the fuck?!' just before - I jumped a mile when I caught it for the first time!

Summertime is at the end of Bones Of You!
There's load of chatting in the b-sides, the fire engine and fluffed start in lil pissed charming tune being my favorite at the moment!
I've always loved the little conversation at the end of red...!!!

I still haven't quite caught all the words at the end. There's a 'Big Issue please' and then some rustling and a voice that says '(something something) that's Albert Square, not St Anne's Square'.

IIRC St. Anne's Square is in the middle of Manchester just by the Corn Exchange.

Gentle As - BINGO! Lovely little back ground noise going on there!!!
Oh and the O christmas tree song... The ridiculous laughter and the "Fox hunting anyone!?" always make me chuckle As does "Feel the baby Jesus in your heart!"
