| Tune into Jo Whiley's lunchtime show on Radio 1 this Thursday (5th June) to catch Elbow in the Live Lounge.
In accordance with Live Lounge tradition, Elbow will perform their new single 'One Day Like This' as well as a mystery cover of a well known song. Let the speculation begin...
There'll also be a fair amount of chat and banter with the boys so make sure you don't miss it - the action will begin at 12 noon.

Yup always good news, usually a highly amusing one from the Live Lounge as well! _________________ "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. " Carl Sagan Administrator

| Do you guys really like the cover idea? I'm not dead set against it as such as they can be fun, but I kinda think that Independent Women dogged the band a bit. The worst example was before their last appearence and Vile Whiley was running down the guests (IIRC it was a big week, Foo Fighters were actually in with her at the time) and what did she play as she mentioned Elbow? Independant Women. No wonder Dave Grohl sounded perplexed. |

| Their ridiculous covers always end up being a female artist with a huge song during the time that they made the cover or at least it's normally a fairly well-known song. I have no idea what it could be, but I wouldn't be surprised if it follows that theme or maybe they've decided to switch it up a bit. And Vile Whiley is the only one who really ever made it into something awful, yeah? I think it's great that they're able to show the fact that regardless of their serious lyrics (most of the time), they're not completely serious as a band and can have a bit of a laugh with a comedic cover. |

| Awesome thanks for the heads up, guys! Can't wait for the new cover I suggest that it might be that American Boy song... very popular, strong melody. Right up their cover street! |

| I will be listening at college, with my ear pressed up against the speakers shooshing my classmates! They won't understand, but they never do.. Bit of a cheeky question here, but would anyone be able to record it? Sarah/Huh will be at work, and listen again doesnt work on her computer..she just wanted me to ask on her behalf. Please! |

| I hope the "listen again" will work... and I'm really curious about the cover...the last two fun-covers were roaring funny and I like it, when Elbow show their funny side... |

| Erm, I recorded it to cassette LOL.
In any case, that was AWESOME. Back to Black; what a brilliant cover choice, that song is beautiful. Couldn't have hoped for better. |
