Fantastic gig in Copenhagen!
The venue was quite small and part of the Radisson hotel, where I decided to stay as it was handiest!
Got to the hotel shortly before 4pm, got the lift to my floor, the doors opened and there was... Pete!!!
The two of us just burst out laughing - how bizarre!
He was just on his way to soundcheck so it was just a quick hello.
Later on I also bumped into Jupp getting on the lift (I thought "at this rate I'm just gonna keep riding the lift up and down for the rest of the day!" haha!)
The gig was lovely - as I said it was quite a small venue and it was by no means sold out; I think the place can hold 5000 but only 2000 tickets were sold.
It didn't matter; the atmosphere was warm and intimate, the crowd were enthusiastic and the band in flying form!
There was quite a few people there from the UK, some of whom were quite rowdy and doing a fair bit of heckling, so Guy repeatedly had to tell them off!
My favourite moment was during 'The River' when Craig just couldn't get one of the chords right and to great hilarity had to try a couple of times. Guy really made fun of him and poor Craig was mortified!
I took a few pictures (which I normally never do - too distracting!) so I will post them next.

I'm liking how The River and Dear Friends made it on to the setlist. Hope they keep them on there for Little Noise. Glad you had a fantastic time Joanie! xx
