OOOOK....
after seeing them live again - we definetly need a LIVE DVD!!!
Maybe we should start a petition and send it to ... yeah, where???
Maybe MagicalTrevor can help us. If we start it here - we would have at least 820 signatures... Very Happy

Yeah good idea! cheers

Discovered another way of ripping web videos so went to the 3VOOR12 sit to rip the Lowlands shoe form the summer - notice it's bben taken down from the site - wonder is this a sign that it could be officially released ??

Not convinced about that TBH: 3Voor12's De Smet gig from 2008( 2009?) was taken down after a few months, so all I reckon it's a sign of is a webmaster who's on the ball... Smile

IMHO this would be the worst tour to release on DVD as it doesn't contain enough older material. The perfect DVD release would have to be Elbow & The Halle at the Bridgewater Hall from a couple of years ago.

I thought the same during the concert.
But they are too young for a best of tour. :-)
although Guy talked about Emma getting rich and he doesn't have to work anymore. *lol*

Is that another way of saying the band's recent material isn't as good? Laughing It seems that quite a few fans aren't very pleased with the latest album.I can see where they're coming from.BARB is my favourite Elbow album apart from TSSK but it is probably too 'warm' for some people's liking and lacks that kind of subtlety and experimental feel their earlier albums have. That said,it still would be truly amazing if they could release a live DVD....

I could never choose a favourite album. I love all five including BARB (in fact I listen to BARB almost 24/7).
And I don't think that the albums are that different... I could never see why some prefer one of the CDs more than other...

And yes: we need a live DVD. I'm not feeling it watching it on YouTube. I need a Dvd to watch it on the telly including bonus material... Very Happy
A friend of mine was like: what? 5 CDs and no Dvd? It's about time! Well said, I would say!!!!

A couple of Elbow fans I know here in China keep saying that how much they like the band's early stuff and how disappointing this tour looks judging from the songs they choose to play ie no early material at all.I never agree with them on this.TSSK is my favourite Elbow album but the five albums are all truly great and I love them all to death.I downloaded the Reading festvival performance off Dime in Sept. and it is so far my favourite Elbow show that I've watched.I've been hoping for an official live DVD of the BARB tour ever since. Very Happy
