| Play.com will work for non UK residents. All you have to do is fill out your account information with a fake UK address. (I also filled out a fake phone number too, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference.) For whatever reason, the site doesn't notice--or care--if your card information is for another country.
Just last week I bought the Elbow cover of Black Magic Woman from Play.com using this method and everything went off without a hitch.
The one main concern you might consider, though, is that there is apparently no way to cancel a Play.com account. I wanted to cancel my account after the transaction--I just gave their system a fake address with real billing information, after all--but I couldn't find a way to actually do that anywhere on the site.

| i used the play.com uk website, my u.s. credit card and some uk address i found on google.
i did get a call from my cc company wanting to verify the charge
this was a lot better than paying 20-30 dollars for the vinyl |
