Drinking with Guy

Love Elbow and was lucky enough to have a very drunken conversation and chat with Guy and Peter the other night! Both were really nice and so welcoming...in fact I breifly spoke to Guy and introduced myself and about half an hour later he came back to me and just started up a conversation!

Have others met them or Guy?

Haha, I didn't manage to get a photo with Pete as he was off deep in conversation with some mates!

I met Guy a few times backstage, he's such a nice one. I hope he won't lose it when Elbow gets that big...

It was more to do with his rather erm, ohh how do I put this politely.......his enhancements, rather than who he is or has done musically. Razz

We were lucky enough to meet Guy and Mark (well when I say meet, I mean accost) the night after the M.E.N gig in March.
A couple of us were across for the Deaf Institute finishing a cigarette, when all hell seemed to break loose in our little group at the sight of them walking across the road.
Both were absolutley lovely and listened to me as I said that they were amazing about a million times.
The boyf had a laugh with Guy after he said, 'Yep your good, but your no Smiths'
Mark was very appriciative of all the support and compliments, and both happily posed for pics.
I then spent the rest of the night with THE biggest smile on my face, and woke up thinking it was all a dream until I saw the proof.

Well, here's a few of us forumsters when we met the Potters after the amazing Halle gig.
It was a great finish to a fabulous night!
