| Give it a little time, and then when you're in a different frame of mind, give it another listen.
I've had to do that with certain music. No idea why, but one minute it won't sound so great, and the next, I'll love it.
Kid A is my most favorite. Just sayin'. |

That happened to me with many albums...I know I just have to give it a little time...I'll probably feel like listening it in few weeks time and then I'll tell you what I think... |

| Seeing them in Manchester this June. Cannot wait as Radiohead are my favourite band of all time easily. Elbow are close but for sheer consistent brilliance you cannot look past Radiohead. In Rainbows was a triumph I think and my stand out tracks would be All I Need, Reckoner and House Of Cards. Anyone else seeing them this year? |

I find that the albums I'm not too sure about on first listen tend to be the one's that I love most in the long run. Good music needs to be absorbed slowly. |

| Totally. Music appreciation is a skill that can be nurtured, I'm finding more so as time goes by. And Topaz, Kid A is my favourite as well Though sometimes I slip into an OK Computer mood, the two are so different yet equally brilliant to me. |

| I think I've been too hard on In Rainbows. For one, the title is misleading - it's not a soulless piece of art like it suggests to me. In particular, the song Reckoner has started speaking to me. I'd almost forgotten that a despairing song can be just as powerful as a joyful song. Reckoner has elements of both to my ears. Good stuff! I still think Bodysnatchers is below them, though. |

| Saw them yesterday at old trafford cricket ground. I must admit, it was probably one of the best gigs that i've been to. The even played Just and Fake Plastic Trees. Absolutely fantastic. _________________ Fear my Epic posts! Moderator

Was pretty good wasn't it! Musically it was my best gig of my life. Muse at Wembley was better for sheer scale and pyrotechnics etc but RH were outstanding. Don't believe me? Take a look at this:
01.15 Step 02.Airbag 03.There There 04.All I Need 05.Nude 06.Weird Fishes/Arpeggi 07.The Gloaming 08.The National Anthem 09.Faust Arp 10.No Surprises 11.Jigsaw Falling Into Place 12.Reckoner 13.Just 14.Bangers And Mash 15.Everything In Its Right Place 16.Fake Plastic Trees 17.Bodysnatchers Encore 1 18.Videotape 19.Paranoid Android 20.Myxomatosis 21.Optimistic 22.Karma Police
Encore 2 23.Pyramid Song 24.2+2=5 25.Idioteque
Encore 3 26.Lucky |

| Idioteque! That was it. I couldn't remember the name of it. Wasn't Just just fantastic. I didn't think the would play it, being that Mark Ronson has made it popular among non-radiohead masses. I think that musically, radiohead are propbably one of the most accomplished bands of our time. Some of the beats that the hold together are mindblowing. Bit of a trek from Portsmouth to Manchester, Ted, that's what I call devotion. _________________ Fear my Epic posts! Moderator
