I'm almost 40 with the mental age of a 12 year old. ;-)
Been following the band since before Asleep In The Back. Based on my mental age this must mean I've been following them since the day I was born.

We were at the recent gig in Madrid celebrating our (soon to be) 40th wedding anniversary and met a couple there who were celebrating theirs!

I'm 62 BTW

I can't believe how so many people haven't even heard of Elbow, I'm absolutely sure they've heard their music though. Makes me wonder how much other stuff they're missing out on.
